Delete your account — PulsoGym

This is an English translation provided for the convenience of non-Portuguese-speaking users. In case of any divergence between this translation and the original Portuguese-language version, the Portuguese text prevails.

This page explains how to delete your PulsoGym account — the training app of WL PULSO APP LTDA (CNPJ 68.826.888/0001-50) — and what happens to your data. You can delete it in the app itself, right away, or ask by email — without having to install the app again.

In the app

This works on iPhone, Android and the browser version.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Tap your photo, in the top-left corner of the screen, to open the menu.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll down to ACCOUNT and tap Delete account.
5. If you have a trainer in the app, choose what happens to the file they built about you: Leave the file with my trainer or Delete the file too.
6. Check I understand this is permanent and cannot be undone.
7. Tap Delete my account and confirm with Delete.

On the trainer's desk (the browser on a wide screen), the same steps are at the end of Settings.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible. If the app can't remove your public photos — because there is no connection, for example —, it doesn't delete the account and asks you to try again. This is on purpose: none of your photos may stay public after the account no longer exists.

Without the app, by email

Write to support@pulsogym.com.br, preferably from the email registered on the account, with the subject "Delete my account". If you have a trainer in the app, say whether you want to leave the file with them or delete it too.

If the request doesn't come from the account's email, we may ask for another way to confirm that the account is yours. We reply to the same address once the deletion is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and your sign-in: you can no longer log in.
• Everything you created: workout plans, history of sessions and check-ins, progress, posts and photos, comments, messages and friendships.
• The groups and challenges you created, which also cease to exist for the other participants.
• Watch data: the workouts imported from Health Connect or Apple Health and the recovery data (resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleep).
• Your points and your routes in the territory game.
• Your notification tokens.
• If you are a trainer: your students' files — data, health, assessments, photos, diary, schedule and finances. The app offers to export them first.
• If you chose Delete the file too: the file your trainer built about you — data, health, assessments, photos and diary.

What remains, and for how long

• The file your trainer built, if you chose to leave it with them. It stays with the professional, not linked to any account, for as long as they need to keep it: this is what professional regulation usually requires of them.
• Backup copies kept by the infrastructure provider: they are overwritten in its retention cycle, within 30 days.
• Reports made about your account or your content: they remain recorded for as long as necessary for moderation.
• Places you registered in the territory game (the name and coordinate of a gym or pool): they remain in the places registry, not linked to you.
• Monthly territory trophies: the record of who owned each territory in each month keeps your account's internal code and the points, with no name, photo or route. No one else sees it.
• Requests to Vita: if your trainer used Vita, Anthropic, which processes those requests, deletes what it received within 30 days, except for the exceptions in its policy (see section 3.9 of the Privacy Policy).

Want to delete only part of it?

You don't need to delete the account for that:

• Posts and check-ins: delete them in the app itself.
• Territory game: Settings → Leave the game deletes your points and removes you from the leaderboards and the map.
• Watch data: pause or revoke the connection in My connections. What has already been imported goes away when you delete the workout in Health Connect or Apple Health, or when you ask by email.
• Any other data: write to support@pulsogym.com.br.
